The quality level grade is similar to M340

Material characteristics

  • Excellent comprehensive performance
  • Pure steel with uniform structure
  • After the heat treatment hardness can reach HRC48-52
  • Excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, polishing performance, hardenability
  • Grade of quality level similar to M340
Main uses
Plastic molds requiring high corrosion resistance and wear resistance
Molds requiring mirror polishing or transparent plastic products


Specific uses:
Plastic products with flame retardant added: terminal, electrical case, electronic, electrical instrument, electrical switch, electric box panel, automobile industry, etc. plastic products with glass fiber added: car door lock handle, car lighting frame, car mirror shell, plastic sports equipment, plastic gear and other transparent plastic products: car lamp shell, transparent panel, etc.
 
Heat treatment process

  • Quenching temperature :1020℃~1050℃,oil cooled 
  • Tempering temperature :500℃~550℃,HRC48-52
Product specifications
  • Round steel: maximum diameter 450MM
  • Flat steel: maximum size 21-120*60-910 MM;
  • Forgings: Maximum size 100-600*310-810 MM; goods to meet user needs.
Material use recommendations:
1. when the die size stability and wear resistance requirements are relatively high, it is recommended to choose high temperature tempering.
2. In order to maintain the stability of mold size, it is recommended to conduct cryoablation before tempering.
3.It is suggested that the size of the original material should be the same as the final size of the mould to obtain the best comprehensive performance.
4.After EDM processing parts, if need to be polished, the metamorphic layer white bright layer should be thoroughly removed, so as not to affect the polishing effect.
5.Stainless steel stainless is relative rather than absolute, need to do a good job of mold cleaning maintenance to prevent rust.
