Processing conditions
For the hard alloy whose hardness is above 90HRA, the resin fund steel gravel wheel with concentration of 75 is generally adopted.
Flat grind cutting
●Milling amount per turn: processing condition of 0.01mm(#140)Low
● Grinding wheel diameter: 355 mm Ф
● Return speed of grinding wheel: 1350rpm
● Moving speed of workbench front and back: 90mm/min
● Table left and right movement speed: 18mm/min
● Amount of grinding fluid: 2L/min
● Cutting fluid: carbide working fluid without dilute nitric acid


Cylindrical grind cutting
● Milling amount per turn: processing condition with diameter of 0.008mm(#140)Low
●Grinding wheel diameter: 355 mm Ф
● Return speed of grinding wheel :1300rpm
● Table front and rear moving speed: 300-400mm/min 
● Low work piece back speed: 180 RPM (work piece feet Ф 50)
● Amount of grinding fluid: 2-3l /min
● Cutting fluid: carbide working fluid without dilute nitric acid


Notes for grinding
1. Cemented carbide will easily crack or collapse under the impact and excessive processing burden. Therefore, before processing, please confirm whether the work piece is firmly fixed on the work table before processing. Hard alloy is afraid of hammer, do not use metal hammer.
2. Hard alloy is not easy to be attracted by magnets, so when you use magnets to fix, please make sure again and again whether the work is slack. After cutting and grinding, the surface will be very smooth and the quality Angle will be very sharp. Please pay attention to safety when handling and using.
 


Wire cutting processing
In order to reduce minor machining cracks, the following machining methods are used.
● Compared with the processing of general cemented carbide, the processing current peak value of 1P is reduced by 1-2 grades, and the processing speed is halved.
● Use less than 0.2 processing line, small energy processing.
● Processing example: wire diameter: 0.15mm
● Thread material: brass
●Low water resistance: 100000 Ω cm
● Water volume: upper and lower 3-6l /min


 Points for Attention in Wire Cutting
 1. The surface of the cemented carbide after the point processing is the most prone to cracking and chipping, so please adjust the processing program according to the use conditions of the product.
 2. wire cutting often produces the phenomenon of cracking, so please confirm after processing that there is no defect in the processing surface before proceeding to the next project.
